Thank you for being a member of the Montessori Administrators of Georgia (MAG).
As we’re sure you are aware, among the many special benefits of membership is the opportunity to participate in the MAG Group Insurance program. How many of you would love to offer health insurance to your staff, but find it unaffordable? Do you wish you could offer an insurance benefit in order to attract more highly qualified staff to your school? Is lack of an insurance benefit causing great employees to seek employment elsewhere? Or maybe you already do offer insurance, but would welcome the chance to explore more cost effective options.
We have prepared a MAG Group Insurance Plan synopsis using the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) format in order to more fully inform you of the program and opportunities that are available to your school as a member of MAG.
If your school is interested in participating, NOW is the time to start preparing. We need to know if you are interested so that we can help you prepare for the coming coverage year. A staffing census for all participating schools will need to be prepared by early December…yes, a few months away but it will soon be upon us. Open enrollment for your eligible staff will take place in February, and the coverage year will begin April 1, 2024.
The cost of the program is addressed in the FAQs, and those schools with serious interest must contact MAG Insurance Benefits Manager, Jim Parsons, by email at [email protected].
MAG currently has 18 schools participating, providing benefits to over 120 eligible employees. By joining this group, your school could be taking advantage of a wonderful opportunity to provide valuable benefits to your staff.
